Invest in the college & career success of P.S. 123Q 1st & 2nd Graders!

Your donation to support the dreams of P.S. 123Q first and second graders will be matched!

As an alum of P.S. 123Q in South Jamaica, I am excited and honored to support students at the elementary school that gave so much to me. That’s why I’m raising funds for the college and career futures of P.S. 123Q first and second graders in the NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program through the NYC Public School Alumni Community Scholarship campaign.

Join me and make a donation to my campaign today!

The NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program provides families, schools, and communities with a way to work together to save for and invest in their children’s futures. It’s a community tool New Yorkers can use to build wealth in their neighborhoods, and support the college and career dreams of children, no matter their family income or immigration status.

Students in the Program receive free NYC Scholarship Accounts with an initial $100 for college and career training, and families have opportunities to receive additional rewards for their children’s accounts over time. Local organizations, businesses, neighbors, employers, and others can contribute to students’ NYC Scholarship Accounts through Community Scholarships.

All contributions to this NYC Public School Alumni Community Scholarship campaign will go to the NYC Scholarship Accounts of first and second graders at P.S. 123Q through a donation to NYC Kids RISE.

This first-of-its-kind NYC Public School Alumni Community Scholarship will demonstrate how NYC public school alumni—an incredibly powerful, significant, and diverse constituency—can tangibly invest in students’ futures and serve as positive role models through the Save for College Program. Community Scholarships provide a concrete vehicle to share social and economic capital within and across communities, in support of our children.

Please join me by making a donation today!

Thank you for your consideration,
Meisha Porter
